Some advice on how to search online lingerie sites.
First things first, do you know what your shopping for?
No, well then you’ll be shopping slightly differently than someone who does.
I’ll go though both here.
Lets start with those who know what your shopping for. For those who don’t know just yet. Have a quick read, but read section 2 more carefully. You’ll probably need section 1 after you complete section 2.
Section 1: Those in the know
First pick out the lingerie site you like. If you haven’t shopped for lingerie online before, bit of advice, pick the first few stores on a search for Sexy Lingerie.
Its a good term that the good stores like to promote. Click on either the ads or the results under the ads. If they appear twice, great.
When your on the site, look at the top bar menu, and the side bar menu.
The side bar menu could have a drop down selection box. Great for those that know what they are on the site to purchase. Simply select the lingerie category and item.
This should deliver the results with a range of products within your item. If it doesn’t, go to another lingerie site. Some online lingerie sites don’t have the drop down menu.
They will simply categories listed on the top menu and side menu. Scroll these of the Category you want. Such as bra’s, panties or matching sets.
Once you have selected your criteria from the drop down menu or found your category in the side menu, Look through the items. There may be more than one page, so browse through the collection, and add to cart any items you like.
This doesn’t mean you need to buy them all, it’s just a simple way to keep the items you like, as you can deleted them the the cart at any time before purchasing. If you don’t want to add to cart as your not sure how to delete an item later, open the items in separate tabs, so you can compare them.
If your purchasing only one of them, you can purchase the item in that tab. If you want to purchase more items. Most products will have a product code. You can search again from that product, and add to cart once found.
Both ways will provide you with an effective way to keep the items you want, without going through the site confused as to which products you selected previously in the search.
Once you have selected the products. Select the colour and size of the item. If you wish to buy more than one of these items, select the quantity too.
Delivery and payment are next. You should be provided with a receipt for the purchase, or it may be emailed.
That’s about it. The easiest way to search in a site is to navigate through the menu options. Each menu option should be designed the same, so once you browse through and find an item your thinking of purchasing, you’ll be able to browse the rest of the site.
Section 2:
Ok, so your not sure what lingerie item your searching for, you want more to browse to find something on special or just something that you go yep!
Just as in section 1, you would still search a common term, such as Sexy Lingerie. Then open up a few stores by the search. Again, the click on the ads at the top of the page or the results below the ads.
Now the site. Look at the top menu (if there is one), and the side menu. The site will either have a top menu, side menu or a combination of both. If you see a category you wish to find more about, click on the category. Browse through the category, the products shown, there may be multiple pages of products.
If you have chosen a category from the top menu, eh side menu within this category may have changed. The selection on the side menu may be more specific now. For example, if you click on Bridal Wear on the top menu, the side menu may change to specific types of bridal lingerie, so you can further advance your search.
Once you have click on a few menu items, you will see the site is structured consistently, which makes browsing for lingerie easier. You can now browse through categories to find a lingerie item you wish to buy. Click on a few categories on the top and side menu to see what the store has on offer.
You will get an idea of the lingerie they stock, the prices and discounts they offer. If the style of lingerie doesn’t suit what your looking for, go to another site you opened and follow the same process.
Once you find an item, add to cart. Choose colour and size of your lingerie. Delivery options will also be seen once you enter the shopping cart. Once paid for the lingerie items, a receipt should provided, and sent to your email.
Its pretty simple, just remember to use common terms when searching and menu options within a site. Take your time, 5-10 minutes navigating the site, so you can understand where to find the lingerie items or at least narrow down from which site you wish to buy.
